Creating an Autumn oasis with the Poster Store

Last year when I completely redid my room, one of the main things I added was a gallery wall, and well a bunch of frames and posters all around. The nice thing about this is you can switch these out and give the space a completely new look and feel whenever you feel like it. And that is exactly what I did for Autumn this year. The Poster Store has the most lovely autumnal posters and I instantly fell in love with them.

I don’t think I’ve ever loved my autumn decor more than this year. I used a bunch of stuff from previous years and also bought some new things. It just looks really nice with my green walls and all the beautiful posters are definitely the finishing touch. It really ties everything together super nicely!

It was hard though, picking out the posters. The Poster Store has a very nice selection in loads of different styles. Well, it was a bit easier since I went for all the autumnal ones, which narrowed it down quite a bit. But still! A little tip, I used photoshop and edited a little collage of the posters I wanted. I gave the background the exact colour of my walls and it made it easier to determine what would look nice together and what woudn’t.

For the main gallery wall, I chose 4 posters. It didn’t take me long to decide I wanted the beautiful poster of the treetops in the biggest frame. And I kind of went from there. Another one that I just knew I had to get is the close-up of the leaf. Isn’t it stunning?! To finish it off I chose a beautiful print of a lake and one of a deer. It can’t get much more autumnal then this.

This might be my favourite of all… A poster of the beautiful Glenfinnan Viaduct that we all know from the Harry Potter movies. The thing is, I already had a poster up of this viaduct, in this same spot. So when I saw that they now had an autumn edition I just had to get it.

More trees in orange and other autumnal hues. These are just incredible. I decided to put one of them in a bigger frame, to make it look a bit more playful. I think it worked out nicely. And I just think that combined with my plants, my green wall and the other autumn decorations it just looks really good!

The last print is another close-up, one of the veins of a tree. I thought this one was very interesting. Autumnal but could definitely be put up all year round. I love how it brings some more warmth to this corner!

I am truly happy with all of my autumnal posters. They look amazing. I really love the Poster Store, and I’m not just saying that because I am collaborating with them. I genuinely like their posters and frames, the quality and also how quickly it gets shipped. I got a couple more posters that I didn’t show you today, ones that I plan to put up when I take the autumn decorations down. I will show you them on my Instagram later.
